Process
You can work with Yeena to create a completely new and bespoke design. This is a particularly creative option and if you wish you can become involved in the innovative process.
1
Complementary Initial Design Consultation
The first initial design consultation is complimentary, and lasts an hour per client. This is the perfect opportunity for you to see our existing designs in person, examine our quality of craftsmanship, and explore initial ideas so you get a clear sense of what is possible to create within budget.
2
Payment of Retainer Fee
After the first initial meeting, if you feel good about moving ahead with the commission, we require a payment of £300 as a commitment retainer before we can devote more time and resources to do more work for your project. This is a sign of good faith on your part, which allows us to go ahead and begin sourcing materials, producing exclusive designs as well as sourcing materials for your bespoke ring.
The retainer is a non-refundable fee, but it will be deductible from the final cost of your bespoke jewellery.
3
Design process and Quotations
After discussing your ideas, unless you have a specific design in mind, Yeena will present design ideas for your approval. Design ideas at this stage are either in images or in a sketch form.
Here you also have a chance to discuss mock-up to be part of the design option during the production period.
Design and materials are locked in once we begin production, so it is important to make sure that all the details are correct before proceeding with your order.Mock-up allows up to 3 iteration of changes. Beyond that requires further design fees.
When you have chosen from the designs and discussed any amendments, the next stage is payment.
4
Deposit payment 50% before Production
If you wish to go ahead with production, we will need to secure 50% of the total price upfront. This will of course take into account the £300 retainer fee already paid at the start of the process, which will be deducted from the total cost.
A custom order invoice will be created and emailed to you to submit your payment.
This fee is non-refundable.
At this point you will be committed to purchase and the order cannot be cancelled.
5
Completion,Final Payment and Delivery
Upon completion, we will notify you by email and arrange collection or delivery of your finished piece. Photos and videos of your finished piece may also be provided if necessary, before delivery. If you are based locally we will invite you to return to the studio to collect the finished piece in person. If you are a remote client, we will post the finished piece via special delivery service if you live in the UK. Otherwise, the cost of delivery will be discussed in advance prior to commissioning.
The final 50% payment is due upon completion of the bespoke piece, before it can be collected or delivered. We are unable to release any orders before full payment has been made.
At the time of handover, your bespoke piece will be hallmarked under the Hallmarking Act 1973.
